Nick Mowat and Mike Goble are the Directors of MoGo Productions.
They first worked together on the pantomime production, Jack And The Beanstalk, in 2013, and since that time have co-written and directed productions of Cinderella, Beauty And The Beast, Aladdin, Peter Pan, Jack and the Beanstalk, and Sleeping Beauty
Together they have more than 50 years experience and offer a unique creative management service.
Nick has been the General Manager of several theatres and art centres across the UK. In addition he has worked at a strategic level in leisure, greenspace, heritage and the arts.
He produced and directed his first theatre production in 1990 and during the 1990’s he co-produced five pantomimes at the Gatehouse Theatre, Stafford with Robert Warner Productions. He wrote his first pantomime in 2001 and the second for the Hiss and Boo Company in 2003.
He since has produced and directed three Cinderellas, one Jack and the Beanstalk, one Dick Whittington, three Aladdins, two Peter Pans, one Beauty and the Beast, and a Sleeping Beauty (so far!)
Nick has produced and directed Harvey Fierstein’s Torch Song Trilogy, Lyle Kessler’s Orphans, and produced seven large-scale open-air Shakespeare productions starring amongst others, Kristian Schmid and Julia Sawalha, Rula Lenska, Judy Cornwell and the late, great Barry Foster. He has adapted two books for the stage, Judith Guest’s Ordinary People and Ted van Leishout’s Brothers.
Mike has over 20 years experience working and performing for major family entertainment companies in the UK.
In recent years Mike has trained and directed performers in presenting, magic, circus and clown skills. This includes the Magic You Can Do show for Butlins and directed the No1 UK Theatre tour for Ministry Of Science live
He regularly performs, writes and directs various pantomimes in the UK.
For the last four years he has written and directed the puppet shows at Legoland, Windsor. The titles performed include Rapunzel, Goldilocks and the Three Bears, and
The Frog Prince
He recently wrote 7 sketches for Coco and Charlie’s Clown Club for Live Business (as part of their contract for Thomson Holidays) and directed the casts for 24 different resorts.
He has hosted live arena shows - which have included acts from X-Factor and Britain’s Got Talent, narrated puppet shows, fronted the stunt show Pirates of Skeleton Bay, and performed in many pantomimes.
